Roadways & DOT Projects

Door County, Wisconsin Highway 42 project. A Phase 1 archaeological survey was conducted for 8-miles of Highway 42.
Lincoln County, Wisconsin County Road C project. A Phase 1 archaeological survey was conducted for 3-miles of County Road C. No historic properties were discovered.
Lincoln County, Wisconsin County Road C project. The Phase 1 archaeological survey included the land to the slope-intercept of the roadway. Much of the project was drastically landscaped and disturbed.
Portage County, Wisconsin historic farmstead mapped for a proposed DOT soil extraction project. The historic farmstead was setback 100 ft. from the Area of Potential Effect (APE) and the project continued unobstructed.
Dalton, Wisconsin Phase 2 evaluation project. The archaeological site was determined to be a lithic reduction station. The majority of the site was excavated and the project continued on time.
Historic bridge project in Chippewa County, Wisconsin.
Documenting a historic mill in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. The mill was adjacent a bridge replacement project and the mill had burned down several years prior and all that was left was the foundation.
